Support Groups

The Augusta Symphony, Inc. includes hundreds of volunteers in The Augusta Symphony Guild, The Augusta Symphony League, The Friends of the Symphony, and The Aiken Symphony Guild. Symphony volunteers raise or give funds amounting to 20% of the Symphony's operational budget. These individuals also give thousands of hours of talent and expertise, making possible the quality productions provided by the Symphony for our community.

The Augusta Symphony Kitchentour

Guild’s Symphony of Kitchens Tour is a two-day event that offers ticket holders an opportunity to visit kitchens that vary in size, design and culinary inclinations. Proceeds from the Kitchen Tour support Symphony Orchestra Augusta. For sponsorship information and opportunities, please contact Chair, Dixie Thigpen at 706.733.0651. Tickets will be available for purchase online and by phone in October.

AUGUSTA SYMPHONY LEAGUE
The purpose of the Augusta Symphony League is to nurture an awareness and education of its members regarding the activities and mission of Symphony Orchestra Augusta. Additionally, The League supports the Symphony in the form of substantial financial contributions raised through membership dues. The League also remains committed to assisting with the continued growth and development of the Symphony.

AIKEN SYMPHONY GUILD
The purpose of the Aiken Symphony Guild is to bring symphonic music to our friends and neighbors and to provide educational opportunities for area school children in order that they may acquire an appreciation of classical music.
