Associate Concertmaster: Micah Gangwer – Has played with SOA for several years as a freelance player.  Doing Doctoral work at USC Columbia.

Bass Trombone: Eric Henson – Auditioned August, 2009 and filled this position for the 2009-2010 season.  Winning this most current position gives him the job permanently.

Assistant Principal Double Bass: Andrew Small – Undergraduate (Senior) at UGA Athens.  Studying with SOA Principal Bassist, Milton Masciadri.
